I live in england
and I kind of fear for it. But what can it be like living where guns are legal – thats the most stupid thing i’ve ever heard of.
Legalising guns is like ‘a license to kill’. Yeah there have beenloads of stabbings in the uk, but imagin if guns were legal, there’d be murder everywhere.
There is no reasonable reason for why guns should be legal.
Carrying a knife is banned in the uk now, but I’m not suprised. It is a massive contrast – and i’m worried now that soon a nanny state too far really is going to follow.
I think the governement is reacting too strongly to the mistakes that have been made- but are reacting in the wrongway, in the worst way. Lots of children have been abused by their parents, but why would they act so stupidly when dealing with this mothers case. I’m pissed off at this stupid state. And the majority of the ignorant population don’t give a shit.
I want to protest but i’d be on my own.

I am an American but both sides of my family originally hailed from England.

I am a full-blooded Anglo.

Maybe I am embarassed about this now. There are those who think I am a bit funny in the noodle. Maybe they’re right. Maybe it’s hereditary.

These people are nuts. They ban guns, giving criminals a blank check. Now they are imposing all these restrictions on the law-abiding, and now this attack on children is way over the top. What will happen when this generation is in charge, who have been raised to believe that government is god?

I am glad to be in the States, but fear that we are not too far from that either.
