Save Larry Sinclair, Save the Planet!

DBKP has been following the saga of Larry Sinclair: the man who has staunchly accused Senator Obama of meeting him for illegal drug and sex trysts in Chicago and Gurnee, Illinois back in November of 1999. Now Sinclair has said he has inside information concerning the murder of gay choirmaster Donald Young in Chicago.

Sinclair had announced on his website that he was headed last week to Washington, D.C. to confront the D.N.C.’s Rules Committee and that his attorney, Montgomery Blair Sibley, who has offices in Florida and D.C., would be handling a Sinclair press conference scheduled for last Friday.

We find this surprising, as on May 9, the District of Columbia Court of Appeals had ruled to suspend Sibley’s D.C. license. Either Sibley is still practicing law–despite being suspended–or Sinclair has failed to mention his attorney’s new status.

Sinclair’s website mentions, in a post dated Friday May 30, that Sinclair would be available for the “media”, along with “my attorney Montgomery Blair Sibley in Washington, D.C.”. Sinclair writes that a “press conference” will be held that afternoon with the location “being sent to media by Mr. Sibley”.

A cursory check of Sinclair’s website shows no other mention of the purported press conference–other than Sinclair stating that he’s being “threatened once again with arrest by the Obama supporters”.

Despite Sinclair’s claim of imminent arrest, Sinclair later posted photos of himself shaking hands with black Congressman John Conyers–whom he later misnamed as black Congressman Charles Rangel of New York. There’s a photo of Lanny Davis, along with an “undercover” video of his attempts to get the attention of the D.N.C. to “answer” his questions.

Sinclair believes that the D.N.C. “owes” him an explanation as to why his accusations leveled against Senator Obama last fall–of cocaine, gay sex, and a rented limo–are not being addressed.

Sinclair has been busy raising money (donations) to fund his legal endeavors. He’s suing three anonymous posters for calling him names over at the Democratic Underground for $3 million. Sinclair claims his reputation has been harmed and evidently, $3 million should help to alleviate the pain and suffering he’s had to endure from the three posters commenting on a forum.

This is where Montgomery Blair Sibley comes in.

Sinclair filed his first lawsuit in Minnesota at the Federal Court. Written by Sinclair–who claims he has a degree in law but hasn’t had the chance to pass the bar–the suit alleged that Obama, David Axelrod, and the D.N.C. conspired to silence Sinclair and that this violated his First Amendment right to free speech. The suit was immediately struck down, with the judge ruling that Sinclair had failed to provide one shred of evidence supporting his claims. The judge also noted that Sinclair did not cite any case relevant to his claims.

A second suit was filed in D.C. against the three anonymous posters, with Sibley representing Sinclair. The suit is still ongoing, but Sibley’s status has been in question since it was reported that he had been suspended in Florida. Florida and D.C. are reciprocal states; both honoring the other’s suspension decisions. Sibley represented Sinclair and his suit in the District of Columbia.

DBKP reported that Sibley had been suspended by the Florida bar, and that his D.C. license would suffer the same consequence. His license to practice in D.C. was based on a clean record in Florida.

Sinclair immediately denied that Sibley had been suspended in D.C..

He also continued to refer to Sibley as his legal representative when addressing his base at his website. This link to the Florida Bar’s ruling on March 7, shows that Sibley has been suspended from practicing law in Florida for three years.

Sinclair immediately informed his followers on his website that Sibley was still eligible to practice law in D.C., and that it had no bearing on his case. In fact, the followers at Sinclair’s website are–even now–referring legal questions to Sibley and posting contact information for Sibley’s office in D.C..

Sinclair posted as recently as last Friday, that Sibley would be in D.C. with Sinclair at a press conference; that Sibley was handling the details. And yet the District of Columbia Court of Appeals suspended Sibley on May 12.

Sinclair has yet to publish this fact on his website. Nor has he explained what happened to the scheduled press conference–or the “announcement” he planned to make.

Sinclair’s Surprise Announcement (We’re Still Waiting)

Sinclair wrote on his website that he had a “surprise” announcement to make on 5-28-08. That date has come–and gone–and yet, still no surprise announcement.

The only surprise was that Sinclair’s supporters–who still send in “donations” and “believe” in Sinclair’s assertions–claim that he’s being “persecuted” by Obama followers. Sinclair has dangled what people believe is a key piece of “evidence”: the “name” of the driver of the limo in which, Sinclair claims, he partied with Obama.

Evidently, those who “believe” in Sinclair’s story weren’t around when Sinclair “named” the limo driver earlier, while posting on Youtube.

Sinclair’s Core Constituency

Sinclair’s base consists of posters who have taken Sinclair’s claims at face value; even though Sinclair has systematically failed to offer any proof. They’ve ignored the fact that their “man”, Sinclair, still has an outstanding warrant for arrest in the state of Colorado.

Instead, they swallow Sinclair’s various explanations; that Sinclair’s been back to Colorado and is still a free man equals the “end of case”.

Yet his own Motion to Dismiss contains key info about Sinclair’s life during the period of his claims that he met up with Senator Obama. Sinclair has admitted he was picked up for arrest on November 8 1999–the day he purportedly traveled back from Minnesota–but that his arrest ws a result of a message Sinclair claims he left on his Parole Officer’s answering machine.

This is a different criminal matter, not relating to the Colorado warrant.

Sinclair admits on his website that he was on parole from prison when he was arrested on Nov. 8, 1999. Sinclair’s motion to dismiss the Colorado warrant–a different matter than the parole violation–is a rambling defense as to why the state should drop the matter and what really happened.

According to Sinclair, that is.

The World According to Larry Sinclair

Sinclair wrote in his Motion to Dismiss the Colorado Felony Warrant that the case should be dismissed. He claims he was the victim of a Mexican vendetta; that the three checks–he admits that he deposited them in his Wells Fargo Bank accounts–were from illegal drug running. He says that the checks were not his money, but his friend’s money.

Sinclair goes on to list all the monies owed to him, which, in a round about way, we suppose he maintains he should have been allowed to deduct from the $14,000 in checks he admits he deposited in his accounts. The tally between what was owed to him was far less than that original amount, no where in Sinclair’s version does the amount that was owed to him equal the $14,000 he put in his bank.

Sinclair filed his motion in 2004. In it, he asks the court to dismiss the case, as he is:

1. terminally ill;
2. suffers severe spine damage; and,
3. was on Social Security Disability.

Despite Sinclair’s motion to dismiss–and all the “mitigating” circumstances, according to Larry–the warrant is still outstanding. In fact, Sinclair is on the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Most Wanted list.

Sinclair’s constituency has also failed to notice that the photo Sinclair has photoshopped into “fliers”, along with a photo of Senator Obama smoking a cigarette, is a much younger Sinclair–a photo years younger than Sinclair looked like in 1999.

The Wanted Poster photo at the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Department is what Sinclair looked like in 1999.

Sinclair still continues to claim that Sibley–a suspended attorney in D.C.–is representing him legally. Sinclair has yet to deliver anything of substance to validate his accusations. Instead, he’s upped the ante and now has his supporters playing, “Murder, They Hope”.

Sinclair now claims that Senator Obama may have had the gay choir director at Obama’s former church, Donald Young, murdered; and, that Obama had sex with not only the gay, carefree Larry Sinclair back on that November night in Gurnee, Illinois–but also with the now dead (and conveniently incommunicado) Donald Young.

Sinclair also claims that a person, whom he believes may have been Donald Young, contacted Sinclair several times before Young was murdered in December. Sinclair claims that that person intimated to Sinclair that Obama was sleeping with Young. Sinclair has breathlessly turned over his “info” to the Chicago Police Department, while his constituency puts together “clues”.

All this, in order to save the world from Senator Barack Obama–with Sinclair as their leader.

Sinclair is on a one-man campaign to “save the world” from Senator Obama. His supporters fervently believe that “Larry, Larry is our man, if Larry can’t do it… no one can!” Checkbooks at the ready, they appear eager to send in cash to Sinclair to battle the Obamabots, who threaten to destroy him–that is, according to Larry.

Never mind that Sinclair’s blog, with all its nasty fliers and racist comments, continues out in cyber-space. Larry also claims that his website has been threatened to be shut down by the people who own it.

Never mind that Larry is using a “free” blog service.

And yet, it’s perfect. If Larry were to decide to pull the plug and disappear–this from a man who has had several known aliases and a criminal past–his followers would claim that he’d come to harm at the hands of his “enemies”.

One thing we’ve come to admire about Lawrence Wayne Sinclair: the man has been able to spin his lurid tale of sex and drugs with Obama since January. All the while, getting people to send him money for “legal” expenses for months without a shred of proof to back up his claims.

He’s managed to turn his accusations into a Mexican telenovela: a soap opera. His followers believe they’ve become part of a quest for a Holy Grail, the “exposure” of Obama, all on Larry’s say-so. Larry has woven together elements of danger, the purported threats of the Obamabots, and drama–the refusal of the DNC to answer his accusations–into a fabric of breathless anticipation.

“Oh my, what will Larry do next?”, and now the murder of the gay choirmaster at Obama’s church.

In Sinclair’s world, all these unlikely events revolve around Larry W. Sinclair.

Save Larry Sinclair, save the planet!

If you look at the day Larry Singlair
has a room rented for the press conference
*PLEASE CHECK* You will see that WAPA
also has an event. there. This is important
because WAPA was the T.V. station that
