I came upon this link via a UK ad link, as I was researching Nazi names from a novel (_Spandau Phoenix_ by Greg Iles) that I am currently reading.

This blog was written prior to my regular visits of DBKP.

Nazi propaganda did call upon Nazis to quit or eschew smoking.

“Hitler didnâ€™t drink not smoke but he killend millions people!!”

Exactly. The anti-smoking campaigns are, many times not about smoking–they are about control.

As was stated: If everyone in the world quit smoking today, tomorrow these same people would move on to try and control another behavior that they didn’t think was safe–or good–or useful–or something.

right on Rides a Pale Horse its sad that the anti smokers think that its just the smokers that are targeted by legislation like this but this is just the beginning once they take away smoking next they could regulate what you eat, drink, and wear.
