Barack Obama: Whitey Tape Means Michelle O. is Going On a Trip– Under the Bus

The Countdown Begins

“If Obama can throw his pastor under the bus, what will he do to LGBTQ* voters on his way to the White House?”
– Rev. Irene Monroe in a Windy City Times column about Illinois Sen. Barack Obama’s race speech and Rev. Jeremiah Wright.

* - Lesbian-Gay-Bisexual-Transgendered-TransSexual-Queer

Another under the Obama bus?

The Driver on the Obama Bus says, “GET DOWN, MICHELLE!”

There’s NO CHANCE that it will get any more crowded under the Barack Obama “Ch-Ch-Change” Bus.

Is there?

Larry Johnson, of the No Quarter blog, opened a cold, coy can of conversational whoop-ass this morning. Johnson, who served as a Deputy
Director in the U.S. State Department’s Office of Counter Terrorism, learned over the weekend that the rumored “Michelle Obama Whitey” tape is no rumor.

According to Johnson:

I learned over the weekend why the Republicans who have seen the tape of Michelle Obama ranting about “whitey” describe it as “STUNNING.” I have not seen it but I have heard from five separate sources who have spoken directly with people who have seen the tape. It features Michelle Obama and Louis Farrakhan. They are sitting on a panel at Jeremiah Wright’s Church when Michelle makes her intemperate remarks. Whoops!! When that image comes out it will enter the politcal ads hall of fame. It will be right up there with the little girl plucking daisy petals in the famous 1964 ad LBJ used against Barry Goldwater.

So, the tape really exists and it’s in the hands of the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy (feel free to substitute “Evil Republican Noise Machine”, if you like).

“Farrakhan, Wright, and Pfleger are each on tape in various settings spewing the most vile racists garbage in the guise of preaching. Barack Obama, up to this point, has tried to pretend he had no idea that these men had these thoughts or said these things.

NONSENSE!”
Larry Johnson, in Michelle Obama and Louis Farrakhan Take On Whitey

There will be an EXPLOSION of political pow-wows over what to do about the tape. In the Obama camp, spin-mongers will spend many a sleepless night over anything that will stop the bleeding. For a politician that started out as the “Great White (Liberal) Hope”–full of inspiring, airy platitudes and policies–further revelations that Barack Obama is surrounded by a racist cadre, will prove to be a political killer.

In the GOP ranks, the only question will be, “When?”; as in, “When’s the best time to release the tape to the media”.

Like a vampire reacting to dawn, white blue-collar voters have run away from Obama–as news of his cronies and the tapes of their putrid public pronouncements–have surfaced.

It seems that, when it comes to choosing candidates for the Oval Office, working-class voters are heeding an old adage: “If You Lay Down With Dogs. You’ll Get Up with Fleas”.

The $64,000 Question

Which raises the inevitable question, given Obama’s historical response to any exposure of his inner circle’s behavior:

Will Barack throw Michelle under the bus?

“NEXT!”

“I can no more disown him (Jeremiah Wright) than I can disown my white grandmother
– Barack Obama, Philadelphia, March 18

Madelyn Dunham, Obama’s white grandmother, now resides under the ever-spinning wheels of the Obama 2008 campaign vehicle. Her crime? She was once nervous, while waiting for another kind of bus.

The Rev. Jeremiah “God Damn America” Wright, is under there, too. So is Father Michael Pflaeger and the Trinity Church.

It might be wise for Obama to check the tread on that bus’s tires; he might need an all-terrain vehicle, at this rate.

As The Bench put it:
How can you trust Obama now? He said he could no more “disown” Reverend Jeremiah Wright than he could “disown” his mother. Or his dog, or something like that.

Then he disowned him. The other day, he disowned Father Michael Pfleger. This weekend, he disowned his entire church.”

Will Michelle Obama be the next to feel the wheel’s ruthless, rubberized crunch of the “Change-for-Lunch Bunch”?

The prediction from this corner: YES!

Like a pilot of a rapidly-deflating hot-air balloon, Barack Obama will stick to form and jettison any dead weight on his bid for the White House–and that includes his wife, Michelle, and any of her hateful “Whitey” statements.

Obama is a politician; he will do what politicians do in a crisis: CYA.

Cover Your Ass.

BH Obama will disown his wife.

However, it will be banishment with a nod and a wink. Michelle will willingly take a trip underneath the Obama 2008 bus–if it means she can add “first lady” to her resume.

So, Michelle Obama, get ready to come on down.

Under the bus.

At least you won’t be lonely.

Yeah! Spew the hatred. If there is a tape then show it. If you play dirty, trust me we will too. It has been hell seeing the right wingers who talk about jesus and God throw the churches around the chicago area under the bus. No Obama will not throw his wife under the bus. we supporters of obama will not let him he is our nominee. you play with his wife, trust me and I know this the juicy stuff they are holding against cindy mccain pales in comparison. At least, Obama and his wife are not allied to the chinese, pardoning of FALN terrorists, ron burkle, cattle futures, whitewater and the list goes on. the clintons are involved in such deep shit that even Rush admitted Obama pales in comparison. so don’t railroad our nominee, we will not be swiftboated. sean hannity can play a thousand such tapes and obama will still be our nominee. plus, the source of the tape is larry johnson, a known clinton supporter and since she is in bed with the right wing, there is a rumor that if Obama is asked to quit, he will give his delegates to either Gore or edwards ashe should. the clinton MUST not be allowed to be in the white house. get it, whitey(s). your racism is STUNNING. you dare to call them racists, ever heard of mirror mirror on the wall. Bring it f_ing on. we are ready for you and you will see our collective wrath.

You mean ‘the tape’ you haven’t seen or heard yet. If by some fluke, BHO makes it to the ‘White’ House, we will have our very first racist in the ‘white’ house.

    Well…I don’t know about “feel(ing) your wrath.

We’ve already heardplenty of wrath. Again, time will tell. In the mean time, you might want to consider using the occasional period. But punctuation is no match for passion.

You obviously are fired up–and that’s good! Too many people don’t even know who’s running.

    Or care.

That being said, thanks for taking the time to stop by and leave a comment.

Is this so called smoking gun “real” like the video of the Clinton advisor calling Indiana voters “white n*ggers”?? We all saw how fake and phoney that was LOL I just got through listening to some of Hannity’s radio show and he sounded pretty skepital of this Michelle ‘Whitey” tape.

On various blogs, the Obamabots are simultaneously arguing:

    1) That it can’t be real (Michelle just LOVES white people!)

    OR

    2) That if it is real, she’s not saying “Whitey,” she’s saying “Why’d he”

    OR

    3) That if it is real, and she is saying “Whitey,” it is obviously taken out of a context that thoroughly justifies it

    OR

    4) “Yeah, it’s true, and she was right to say it! About time we got a sista to tell it like it is!”

    Pass the popcorn . . . it’s fun stuff!

Obama will try to stonewall this story, of course. But it’s not going away. He could clear away the debris easily by denying it. Unless it’s true, of course. So we don’t have to see the tape to know what’s what.

He’s reportedly stonewalling his financial backers already about the story. Next up? The press.

You Repubs love to talk about anything except the issues, because you know the American people are fed up with:
–Soaring national debt and budget deficits
–Falling real incomes for average American families
–Gas rising from $1.30 to over $4.00 with Bush in the White House
–The Dollar falling by 50% against the Euro
–Endless, bloody war in Iraq that has cost 34,000 young Americans dead/wounded, close to $1 trillion added to the National Debt, $200 billion per year with no end in sight (”100 years” per McCain)

No wonder you right wingers want to change the subject to whose Pastor or wife said what. Get real. This election will be about YOUR record for the last 8 years, and the fact that John McCain supports all of Bush’s failed policies. Keep trying though, it’s fun to watch.

    Mike S.,

    Nice try, tiger.

At the end of the day, the presidential election is in fact the world’s most important job interview for the world’s most important job (not my words, I read this passage today, and it seemed apt). That being the case-”who you are, where you’ve been, and who you’ve been there with” matter. A great deal.

Are the issues, and more importantly where you stand on the issues, important? You betcha. But WHO the candidate is is just important as where he stands on the issues. Character counts.

Oh, yeah, you’re commenting from your deliciously isolated alternate reality if you think that McCain supports all (or even most) of Bush’s policies. Their substantive differences are a matter of public record, and the American electorate knows it.

By the way, your bullet-pointed remarks are for the most part complete BS. Again, nice try, Jethro, try’n cipher them numbers again. Correctly this time.

McCain ‘08 (Cause we can’t have Fred ‘08)

There is no tape! If there was a tape it would be out there already. Do you think the GOP is holding the tape back so they can spring on Obama after he sews up the nomination? You don’t think the Clinton Campaign would have used it already? Even the right wing talking heads are saying there is no tape. Stop with the tape already!

There is one thing that can’t be ignored in this election season: In 2000 the voters of the Republican Party decided that Gearge W. Bush was better prepared to be the president than John McCain. I, and most Americans think GWB has done a lousy job in the White House and now the GOP is asking us to vote for the SECOND best candidate they have to offer.

    Fat Chance!

Somebody said up the thread that Obama will try to stonewall this story. But I must correct. This isn’t a story . . . yet; it’s just a rumor. You don’t stonewall a rumor! No major news organization has picked this up yet, and probably for very good reason.

One thing’s for sure. If the Clinton campaign had something that’s real, they would have released it by now. And since something like this would be EXTREMELY valuable to the Clinton campaign, it’s pretty damn unlikely that it’s real.

But as an aside, I must ask one question about George Bush. Why’d he let New Orleans drown? (NOTE: I didn’t say “WHITEY let New Orleans drown!”)

    [Reply]

  • halligan said:

    Jack,

In turn, one question for you:

You ask the President, “why’d you let New Orleans drown?”. Let’s put aside for a moment the obvious inanity of the question (it’s incredibly ridiculous to assert that “the President let New Orleans drown”, unless one momentarily suspends reality and assumes that the President can, in Moses-like fashion, alter the behavior of vast amounts of water. Oh, and that he can quickly teleport himself to actually do the job in a timely fashion)……

    …….and ask you……….

How would you, Jack, have personally ensured that New Orleans would remain “drown-free’, as it were? We don’t require detail. Just share a few key top-line bullet-points on How Jack Would Have Saved New Orleans From Drowning. Please be sure to share specific, measurable, achievable, reality-based, timely action steps

    Do tell. We’re waiting.

On the other hand, I’m sure that you’re one of the folks who come close to believing that Obama could pull off the deed as described above……… >:-)

You don’t need to watch a tape to get a feel for Barack’s racism. If his references to “white man’s greed” in his book are not enough to convince you, nor his Nation of Islam connections and staff members, nor his wife’s racist paranoia expressed in interviews, then just check out this 1995 article/interview.
    http://www.chicagoreader.com/features/stories/archive/barackobama/index.php?cAction=add#comments

He talks about how racist comments against Asians and others will not help blacks, but building communities (at tax payer expense) will help put them in their place. He doesn’t condemn the comments, sadly, as usual. Also, he admits fully that he knows what is going on with the preachers in town and how much he likes them and how they also need to do more to be involved politically and in the community. He talks about why he went to the million man march meant to him, that he finally had a place in society.

Also, look into Trinity’s child care program. 1.6 million was gotten from the government. It covered one year of child care for 65 children, which means 21,000 bucks per child. The average cost of child care per year in Detroit is a little over 4000 dollars. Something stinks. And the tax payers paid for it.

Also, why didn’t the IRS pursue it’s investigation with Trinity. If it had been a white church, I’m sure it’s tax exempt status would have been taken away.

Well, I hope that the 65 lucky children in the segregated South Side of Chicago got excellent care for the money. Somehow, it is hard to view these people as being poverty stricken.

Look closer, you will find fraud of all kinds, and Obama is quite the ordinary urban politician who can’t see past race and his own prejudice to love and care about all Americans. Thank God he will lose.

I sent this link to Hannity. I don’t understand why they don’t pick up this story, or the Kenya stuff about Odinga and Obama. It really needs to be explored. As well as his source of campaign funding. Send it again to Hannity. Maybe he will finally pick it up.
