		<description>It was done with a panoramic camera. Not the ones we see today which can  take extra-wide photos, by the kind using real film which is exposed by a slit allowing light through. As the camera rotates on a handle, the film is advanced and exposed by the slit.</description>

That&#039;s what I thought.  Just wondering how high the camera had to be mounted.  At first I thought it was a composite but after scrutinizing it in Photoshop I couldn&#039;t see anywhere it could have been spliced.
