Obama: Al Gore Consulted as Global Warming Czar
Scary as global warming is to liberals, Al Gore as Global Warming Czar in a Barack Obama administration is scarier to conservatives.
That’s exactly what Obama told Pennsylvanians in Wallingford, PA today: that he would put Gore in charge of global warming at the cabinet level–or higher.

A woman at a town hall asked the Illinois senator if elected president would he consider tapping the former vice president for his Cabinet, or an even higher level office, to address global warming.
“I would,” Obama said. “Not only will I, but I will make a commitment that Al Gore will be at the table and play a central part in us figuring out how we solve this problem. He’s somebody I talk to on a regular basis. I’m already consulting with him in terms of these issues but climate change is real.”
Al Gore, with the power of the federal government behind him to tax American families, companies and lifestyles, is a made-for-TV Halloween horror movie.
Taxing and regulating–two things Gore yearns for the power to do–would be only the half of it.
The worst would be that we’d have to listen to Al Gore talk for four years about how Americans, by the sheer act of breathing, are evil and killing the planet.
Expect suicides among conservatives to take a big jump.
