Max Mosley, head of the prestigious racing group Formula One, has come under fire after a video surfaced with Mosley shown cracking a leather whip while barking orders and beating prostitutes dressed as WWII Nazi concentration camp prisoners. Mosley is seen at times inspecting their heads for lice. The kinky-sick Nazi sex tape purportedly cost Mosley $5400 for a five hour session at his Chelsea apartment in London.

Mosley, a married man, has said he won’t resign while some claim what Mosley does in private should stay private and not dictate his professional life.

While some may consider Mosley’s Nazi fetish to be somewhat on the kinky weirdo side there’s another side to Mosley, of a man whose parents were famous for their ties to a virulent antisemitic fascist organization, the British Union of Fascists, and an intimate relationship with Hitler and the leaders of the Nazi party.

Max Mosley’s father, Oswald, was born in 1896. Oswald fought with the Lancers in WWI and became a pilot with the Royal Flying Corps. He was injured during a crash in 1916.

In 1918 he became the youngest member of the House of Commons after winning the Harrow seat for the Conservative Party. Oswald quit the party and won the seat again as an Independent in 1922. Oswald once again switched his allegiance to another party, the Labour Party in 1924. Oswald became enamored with the policies of economist Maynard Keynes and proposed a program in 1930, one which he believed would help deal with the growing problem of unemployment in England. When Ramsay McDonald, the head of the Labour Party rejected Oswald’s proposal Oswald resigned and the following year formed the New Party.

In 1932 Oswald met with the Grand Daddy of fascism, Benito Mussolini, in Italy. Oswald, inspired by Mussolini, returned to England and reorganized his New Party into the British Union of Fascists. The new party was strongly anti-Communist and rabidly anti-semitic. Oswald and his goons marched through the streets of Jewish communities in London where riots ensued.

It was due to Oswald and the BUF’s tactics that the 1936 Public Order Act was enacted where the British government took steps to outlaw what was considered “private armies” such as BUF, the wearing of political uniforms and the use of threatening or abusive language a criminal offense.

Mosely was married to another woman when he began an affair with Diana Mitford, the daughter of a wealthy baron and deep pockets supporter of the BUF. Mitford was also married, she left her husband for Oswald but he made no move to leave his first wife, she was the daughter of a former Viceroy of India. It wasn’t until she died from an illness that Oswald married Diana in 1936 Berlin in Joseph Goebbel’s drawing room, with Hitler one of the only six people in attendance. While in Germany Diana lobbied Hitler to establish a pro-Nazi radio station in Britain.

Diana’s first husband was an heir to the Guinness fortune, Bryan Guinness. They were married in 1929 and had two children. Diana’s parents were supporters of the BUF and it was in 1932 that she met and “instantly fell in love” with the dashing Jew hater and fascism lover Oswald.

Diana and her sister, Unity, visited Nazi Germany several times where they met with Hitler, Himmler, Goering, Goebbels, and other leaders of the Nazi party. Hitler was smitten with Unity, telling the German newspapers that she was the “perfect specimen of Aryan womanhood”.

Diana and Oswald held a small wedding ceremony in the drawing room of Hitler’s Propaganda Minister, Joseph Goebbel, in 1936. In the advent of WWII the British government enacted what was known as Defense Regulation 18B which allowed Home Security to imprison without trial anyone deemed to “endanger the safety of the realm”. Oswald and Diana were immediately arrested as well as other high ranking BUF officials. The BUF soon disbanded while the couple was allowed to live just outside the Holloway Prison in a small house with their own garden and volunteer “servants” from the prison. It was Winston Churchill who granted the couple permission to live in the little house.

Max Mosley was born just prior to the couple’s arrest in 1940 and spent his first three years in the little house just outside of Holloway prison. There’s no telling what the little boy overhead in his formative years. In 1943 the couple was released from prison, well before the war ended, resulting in large scale protests.

Mosley’s parents opened a book store called Euphorian and championed authors who espoused their views, that of fascism and antisemitism while Diana edited the far-right magazine, The European. They left England in 1949 and settled near their long time friends, the Duke of Windsor and his thrice divorced wife, Wallis Simpson, in France.

They continued to try to resurrect the BUF party and were virulently anti-immigration. It was this atmosphere that Max Mosley, the now head of the Formula One Racing, grew up in.

Jewish groups have protested against Mosley after news of the kinky Nazi sex romp with prostitutes surfaced. Yet a confidante and Jewish businessman, Bernie Ecclestone, stands by Mosley.

“Assuming it’s all true, what people do privately is up to them. I don’t honestly believe [it] affects the sport in any way. Knowing Max, it might be all a bit of a joke. You know, it’s one of those things where he’s sort of taking the piss, rather than anything against Jewish people.”

Mosley has refused to step down as head of Formula One. The argument so far is that what he did was supposed to have been private and not public. Since the advent of videos and Youtube many private moments have indeed, gone public.

Should what one does in their private lives be considered “out-of-bounds” in consideration of whether one is “fit” for one’s profession or responsibilities?

In this instance it’s like trying to close the lid on Pandora’s Box, the image of Mosley pretending to pick fake lice from a prostitute, dressed as a prisoner of a Nazi concentration camp, or Mosley yelling orders in German while flicking back and forth a whip in order to achieve sexual gratification. This behavior gives us pause and makes us wonder… could Max have the same deep seated hatred of Jews as both of his parents or is his actions, the kinky sex Nazi role playing more Freudian in nature?

Max Mosley, the child who spent his first three years toddling round a small house at the edge of a prison during the war torn years of WWII. The son of a couple who hobnobbed with Hitler and were imprisoned as potential threats to the British empire and later spent their lives working for a fascist “utopia”. The 67-year-old man, head of Formula One Racing and now exposed as having a sexual fetish involving Nazis and concentration camps.

Time will tell if Mosley steps down from Formula One or if the public will eventually turn it’s jaundiced eye to the next sex scandal of a public or high profile figure, leaving Mosley to ponder such thoughts as to whether videotaping a very private moment was such a good idea.
