Texasdarlin carrying linkage between Ayers, Leary, Millbrook: The SDS were early movers behind the Marijuana wave, and there is also linkage in the Easy Rider movie that did the big push into mainstream. California group in mid/late 70′s had extensive marijuana plantations in Kenya, smuggling into US, partly or more through Maine gateway. I wonder if there is any connection in the Kenya links to that activity? FOIA of DEA linkages would be interesting. SDS/High Times/Maine connections/Financing/
