Saddam Look-Alike Hypnotizes a Suggestible Italian Clerk out of cash

They say he looks like a combination of Rasputin and Saddam Hussein and that he is able to hypnotize checkout girls into giving him cash, in other words, a mesmerizing robber now hunted by the Italian police.

In the world of hypnosis there are subjects who are deemed more “suggestible” to the hypnotist. We wondered what criteria the man wanted by the Italian police used to scope out his potential targets and just how was he able to “hypnotize” these women into handing over the cash in their supermarket drawer.

Conversational Hypnosis & Presuppositions

According to Michael Lee, the technique known as Conversational Hypnosis can be easily used in regular conversations, that master persuaders and hypnotists have been incorporating conversational hypnosis into “everyday conversations to convince people to accept their ideas”.

Was this how the man in Italy was able to hypnotize store clerks while they checked out his groceries?

Presuppositions

Lee claims a rather simple technique in conversational hypnosis is the use of presuppositions, the assumption that the person you’re persuading has already “accepted your proposal or reached an agreement with you” even if they not even aware they already have done so.

Examples of presuppositions:

“Are you still willing to join me in my quest?” (This question does not ask “if” you’re willing, but it presupposes that you’re already willing.)

“I will give you $100 when you finish this task. (Notice I didn’t say “if” but “when.”)

“When do you want to start doing your assignment?” (It assumes you already want to do it; the only question is “when” to start).

“How happy are you to be here in this memorable event?” (It assumes you’re already happy; the only question is your level of happiness.)

Perhaps the Rasputin-Saddam hypnotizing robber asked the unassuming store clerks something along these lines:

“After you ring me up are you still going to put all the cash in the drawer in my shopping bag?”

Lee says that you can “make people do what you want right now by asking a question that assumes they has already done your desired request”.

Mike Eltis writes about “How to Hypnotize Women to do What You Want” which might apply to the Italian supermarket robber as his targets were all women.

Mike claims the steps to hypnotize women are simple, such as getting the woman to focus on you by looking into her eyes, being confident and know what makes “women tick”. According to Mike, a confident guy can get a beautiful woman to do anything if you “portray yourself as a man who is out of their control”. Once you master this, beautiful women can be “easily hypnotized”.

Mike says to listen carefully to what a woman says in order to learn everything you can about her and to use conversational hypnosis power words, intonation and phrases.

However, the basic principle will remain: by using conversational hypnosis, you will be able to plant ideas and desires in the mind of any woman. Now don’t expect an instant miracle, a lot of men simply want to hypnotize women for sex, and while this is entirely possible, with some women it may take longer than with others. It depends also on how well you control the art of conversational hypnosis. However, you will be able to get women who wouldn’t have considered you at all by using conversational hypnosis.

Fascinating. While the cynical side of us finds this quite amusing, the logical side says, hey, this may explain why some women end up with such… but we digress.

How long did it take for the Italian Saddam Bandit to put the women cashiers into a cash-handover trance?

Is it possible that this man works as a stage hypnotist where time is a factor and the ability to recognize a target whose “suggestibility” may be higher than others?

What type of conversational hypnosis techniques, if any, did he use?

Is Mike Eltis right, can a man learn how to use hypnosis on beautiful women to make them do anything? We just assumed men who incorporated those “techniques” were sociopaths or malignant narcissists, now we find out they may be malevolent or opportunistic hypnotists.

Society already has a name for women who use Eltis’ techniques, they’re called seductresses.

The Italian authorities are still looking for the Saddam Rasputin look-alike Hypnotist Bandit, will they catch him before he strikes again?

If they arrest him will he be able to “hypnotize” the police into letting him go? Just how good is this guy? We’ll find out if and when the authorities ever catch up to him. Until then Italian women should be on the look out for the scruffy Hypnotist Bandit, he could be in their next checkout line.
