Because there are people alive who are reaping the benefits of those 400 years of slavery and the descendants got nothing as reparation. Native Americans got reservations, Jews got Israel after the Holocaust from a genocide that was a fraction of the massive murder of slavery. In addition its still going on. There are Black People in backwoods Mississippi who are still enslaved by whites. There have been multiple attempts to give reparations including “40 acres and a mule”… ALL OF WHICH WERE SCRAPPED. How would you feel if you were kidnapped and you grandchildren never got to see you again and the kidnapper got to walk away after kidnapping hundreds of millions and run multinational corporations?

Why be mad about 400 years of slavery when NONE OF THESE PEOPLE (of any color) ARE ALIVE? How incredibly evil that Farrakhan is destroying the self-esteem of blacks by encouraging then to embrace anger and bitterness that doesn’t even belong to them! Racism is becoming alive and well because of these people! It takes wisdom to think for yourself and NOT follow a hateful loser.

That’s quite a story sir. I thank you for sharing it, I was truly inspired.
It’s funny how so many people who live in a country dubbed “The Melting Pot” can harbor so much hatred for each other.
As a member of the US Air Force, I work every day side by side with people of all ethnicities. We work together, play together, laugh, argue, cry and even live together. We understand that if anything is going to get done, there is no “I” and only “We”. We strive together, and we die together. We all bleed red, and we are all willing to die for our coutry if need be (Although we’d rather the other guy died for his first).
When we look at each other, we’re not black, white, brown, or yellow. We’re American. No more, no less.

For the love of God,Americans elected a black president. Do black Americans think Obama was elected with the help of only their votes? A black man is in the most powerful position in the world! At any rate, Farrakhan is a divider of men. He only unifies the hateful. It is unfair to group any race entirely under the same ideology. There are good and bad in every race.
