Drug Clock: Money Spent on the War on Drugs 2008

If you're new to DBKP, you may want to subscribe to the DBKP.com RSS feed. Thanks for stopping by!

The DrugSense Drug War Clock is soon to be moved to our coming new section: The Failed War on Drugs.

The Drug Clock has been up at the original DBKP site at Blogger, almost from the very first day we started.

Before we moved it–at an undetermined future date–we decided to feature the popular Drug War Clock in a post. The clock keeps track of the approximately $600 per second spending racked up on the War on Drugs.

Money Spent on the War on Drugs This Year.

Just like burning money.

it is crazy that we are spending billions of dollars a year on something that never worked and never will work. in the past twenty years the amount of people in jail for drug use has increased by 120% we need to fix the ten trillion dollar debt we are in, drugs are going to be in the united states no matter what the most we can do is urge people not to do drugs not lock them up for doing them so they never recover.

If they would just legalize marijuana and put a tax on it while having the F.D.A controlling the distribution of it our economy would be much better off.
